Brookfield Christian School's pre-preparatory curriculum provides younger children with an introduction to the learning environment at an early age. Our program is designed to provide a strong foundation in the basic and to develop excellent reading, writing, oral and analytical skills. Children are introduced to Spanish, computers and cooking. Children engage in a variety of "hands-on" learning activities to reinforce newly learned concepts. This developmental curriculum includes all areas of the child's functioning process by emphasizing general competence and building individual strengths. Homework is incorporated in the program to reinforce and practice new concepts.
Christian principles are incorporated throughout the program to develop moral values and apply these principles in everyday life experiences. Throughout the year, field trips and special events are planned to increase learning experiences. Children visit farms, libraries, museums, plays, restaurants, and a host of other field trips and events. Children in our program benefit from smaller class sizes to provide individualized attention.
